About: Video game music is a rapidly developing genre. A strong score is just as important a factor in creating a game as engaging gameplay and plot, and recent series such as Halo and Smash Brothers have served to popularize the genre. My goal is to showcase the hard work of composers such as Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu, remixers who diligently submit work to sites such as OCREMIX.org, and symphonic arrangers who contribute to groups such as the University of Maryland Gamer Symphony Orchestra. I also aim to interview some of the aforementioned to get their view on video game music and gaming culture. In short, tune in to hear a wide variety of moving, catchy, exciting, emotional, and epic music from classic games as well as some new tracks from forgotten gems in gaming history. Whether you're an experienced gamer or have never played anything outside of Halo or Madden, I'm sure you will find something to enjoy.
